This policy explains how [ENTITY] ("localeads," "we") handles information when you use localeads.co, app.localeads.co, and related services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect from you
- Account information — name, email address, workspace details, and authentication data when you sign up.
- Content you provide — search requests, acquisition criteria, lists you upload, corrections and feedback you submit.
- Payment information — processed by a payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — log data, device and browser information, and interactions with the Service, used to operate and improve it.
2. Business-records data in the product
The Service compiles information about businesses — and, where public sources support it, the people connected to them, such as officers, license holders, and owners — from public records, licensed data providers, and publicly available web sources. This data is collected for business-to-business research purposes. We record provenance where available, preserve contradictions rather than guessing, and treat "unknown" as an acceptable answer.
If you are the subject of a record in our product and want it corrected or removed, email braden@localeads.co and we will review and respond.
3. How we use information
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service.
- To respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
- To measure usage and performance.
- To meet legal obligations.
Lists and content you upload serve your workspace only; they are not shared with or made visible to other customers.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your account information. We share information with service providers that help us run the Service — hosting, data infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, and data providers — under agreements that limit their use of it; with authorities when legally required; and in connection with a corporate transaction such as a financing or acquisition.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and first-party analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; the Service may not function fully without essential cookies.
6. Retention and security
We keep account information for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes, then delete or de-identify it. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and tenant isolation. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, emailbraden@localeads.co. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
8. Children
The Service is for business use and not directed to children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and significant changes notified via the Service or email.
